Made to Order: Solid Gold Roman Coin Pendant
Please note this pendant is made to order, and can be customised with your choice of gold and gemstones! Your custom pendant will take 4 - 6 weeks to make before it’s posted out to you.
This pendant was cast from a genuine ancient Roman coin - so it’s got a lot of ancient charm! The pendant is double sided, and I’ve added a simple gold bale with a gemstone on each side. I’ve picked diamond and ruby as my gems, but you can select your own from the drop down menu below!
One side of this coin shows the bust of Aurelian, who was the emperor of Rome from 270 - 275, which is when the coin this pendant was cast from was minted (about 1,750 years ago!). The other side of the coin shows two of the goddess Concordia with military standards - representing harmony and agreement with soldiers. I thought this side was especially lovely, and I haven’t seen another coin like it!
Measures approx 32mm long and 20mm wide (at the widest point). Weighs approx 4.7g.
