Converted from a damaged antique brooch, this shield pendant features lovely hand engraving and a bright star set garnet topped doublet. These clever gemstones have a thin slice of garnet on top of a mainly paste base gemstone, giving the look of a garnet without the expense of a solid garnet gemstone. These colourful gems were quite popular here in Australia around 1900, when this piece was made.

The gemstone is quite deep and protrudes through the back of the pendant, however the gold shield is curved so it sits nicely when worn. There are some chips to the gem and the back of the stone is quite worn. It’s a little loose in the setting, but is secure. There are two spots of the back of the shield where the original brooch was attached. Given it’s likely over 120 years old, it’s still in great shape with lots of life left!

This single rose pendant is beautifully modelled in two tone gold, with a textured effect on the leaf and petals that is just so lifelike!

The pendant was converted from a damaged mid century brooch and is lightweight and very fine. Overall in great vintage condition, with some light surface wear to the gold, and ready to wear!

This lovely open locket was made around 1900 - 1910 and is ready to hold a new keepsake. The locket is a great size and could hold a photograph, piece of fabric, dried flowers…. whatever you want!

The top simply screws off to remove the two glass liners so you can place your keepsake inside.

There is some light wear to the glass liners, including a chip to one edge. There is a small split to one of the gold scrolls in the seed pearl border and some small dents to the gold frame, but these are not obvious when worn. The locket is in great antique condition, and ready to wear!

The Mask of Tutankhamun was one of the many treasures found in Tutankhamun’s tomb when it was discovered in 1922. The original mask is made of gold and inlaid with semi precious gemstones, so it’s no wonder it’s one of the most recognisable and replicated discoveries from Ancient Egypt. This version is 9ct gold, and nicely modelled and detailed on the front and back.

The charm is hollow, but in great condition with no dents. Ready to wear!
