Triple Diamond Pendant in Platinum
This trio of single cut diamonds started life in around the 1930’s as a stick pin - but I thought it would make the perfect pendant! I added a simple 18ct yellow gold bale to the let the original platinum setting shine.
There is some minor scratching and age related wear to the metal (remember it is almost 100 years old!), but this is only visible under close inspection and not obvious when worn. The diamonds are bright and lively and securely set. There’s a couple of absolutely tiny nics in the diamonds, which is only visible under magnification. On the back of the pendant, you can see where the pin used to attach to the setting. Overall in great shape and ready to wear!
The diamonds are set in platinum with an 18ct yellow gold bale (unmarked but tested to confirm)
Measures approx 16mm long (including the bale) and 3.8mm across. Weighs approx 0.9g
