Antique Sapphire and Pearl Pendant
This beautiful blue sapphire, in an original Victorian belcher setting, is beautifully accented by a freshwater pearl and a simple 18ct gold bale.
The sapphire and pearl drop was originally part of a larger piece of jewellery which was in parts when I found it. I used three of these drops to make pendants (you can see another one with a different bale here), as well as a pair of earrings (which you can find here).
There’s some minor wear to the sapphire and the gold, but overall the pendant is in great shape and ready to wear.
Settings are 14ct gold, and bale is 18ct gold (unmarked but tested)
Measures approx 27mm long. Weighs approx 1.1g.
