Antique Seed Pearl Clover and Bird Pin
Isn’t this such a sweet trio? Two charming swallows swooping in different directions, with a lucky clover in the middle - all in 9ct gold and seed pearls!
The pin dates from the early 1900’s and is still in great shape! The front of the brooch and the seed pearls are in great condition with just very minor wear, and has been beautifully crafted.
There’s some scratching to the closure but the brooch closes securely. There’s also some scratching to the back of the clover, including where someone has scratched what looks like AIT or ATT - maybe the initials of a past owner?
9ct gold (marked 9ct on the back of the pin and tested to confirm)
Measures approx 32mm long and 11mm wide at the widest pint (the swallows outstretched wings). Weighs approx 1.8g.
