Garnet and Pearl Disc Pendant / Brooch
This gorgeous antique garnet and pearl disc can be worn as a brooch or a pendant, so you get the best of both worlds! I’ve added a simple 9ct gold bale to the back of the piece (where a safety chain would have originally been) - so when you want to wear it as a pendant it’s there, and when you want to wear it as a brooch, it’s hidden.
One of the garnets has a large chip, but this isn’t super obvious when worn. A couple of the garnets have been secured in their settings with glue, and there is minor wear to the gemstones commensurate with age and use. There’s some spots of lead solder on the edges, and some tarnishing on the back of the pendant.
The disc is 14ct gold, and the brooch fittings and bale are 9ct gold (all unmarked but tested to confirm)
Measures approx 23mm across and weighs approx 5.6g.
