Antique Green Paste Ring in 9ct Gold
This beautiful antique signet has definitely been well loved! The green paste gemstone has worn down over years of wear, which has given the ring a lovely smooth feel that is so nice to the touch. The green is so vibrant and bright, and looks really lovely set in this slightly rosey gold.
There is a small repair on the side, which is yellower gold than the rest of the ring. The stone is very worn and has smoothed with time and wear, and there is scratching and wear to the gold. The paste does wiggle slightly in the setting but is secure. There’s a small split on the inside of the band under the setting, but this doesn’t affect the wearability of the ring and can’t be seen when worn. This ring has been well loved and worn, but still has lots of life left and is ready to wear!
9ct gold - there are partial UK hallmarks, although some have been lost during a past resize. I think the hallmarks are for 1906, but can’t be sure as they’re not complete.
