Antique Three Stone Garnet Ring in 18ct Gold
This charming three stone ring looks just as modern today as it did when it was made over 100 years ago! This ring was made by Kilpatrick & Co, a jeweller and silversmith based in Melbourne, who operated from 1853 until around 1900 (I can’t find the exact date they ceased trading, but this ring would have been made not long before they closed).
There is a broken prong on the setting for one of the smaller garnets, but the stone is secure. There are some old repairs to the band around the settings, and the gold is a little discoloured in these spots. One of the settings is worn on the side where it looks like it’s rubbed up against another ring. The garnets aren’t original to the ring, but they’re a great deep red colour and look so good in yellow gold. Overall in good vintage condition and ready to wear!
18ct gold (marked 18 inside the band)
Size H ½ / US 4 ¼ - this ring can be resized! Please message me for a quote if you’d like me to resize this ring for you!
Measures approx 6.5mm wide (at the widest point) and 11.5mm across the three garnets. Weighs approx 1.9g
