Antique (1904) Diamond and Ruby Buckle Ring
True antique buckle rings are always highly sought after and collectible, and this is such a good one! Studded with old cut diamonds and rubies, and engraved all the way around, this ring has so many lovely details.
Fully hallmarked, showing it was made in 1904 in Chester, England.
The ring is hollow, and is dented in multiple spots around the back, and a few small dents inside. Luckily, the front of the ring is in great shape and these dents can’t be seen from front when worn. There’s minor wear to the engraving, which goes all the way around the ring. There’s some light scratching to the gold commensurate with use and age, and some small chips and wear to some of the gemstones.
18ct gold (full English hallmarks for 18ct gold)
Size O / US size 7 1/4 on my mandrel, but fits smaller due to the width. On me it fits more like a size N - N 1/2. I would not recommend resizing this ring.
Measures approx 7.5mm all the way around and 12mm wide at the buckle. Weighs approx 3.78g.
