Engraved Ancient Greek Medallion in 10ct Gold
This impressive medallion is engraved on both sides and features a lovely cut out greek key (meander) border. One side of the medallion is carefully engraved with the ancient Acropolis in Athens, and the other side with one of the Rhodian deer, from a pair of harbourside statues in Rhodes.
The medallion is large but thin, so it’s not too heavy and is really easy to wear. The engraving is crisp and there are so many lovely details to this piece! There’s some minor surface wear and light scratching to the gold, but overall this medallion is in great shape and ready to wear!
10ct gold (marked 585 for 14ct gold, but acid tests as 10ct).
Measures approx 38mm across (excluding bale). Weighs approx 4.4g.
