Sapphire and Pearl Drop Earrings
Aren’t these the perfect drop earrings? Sapphires and pearls are such a great combination!
The earrings are sisters, not twins - the pearls and sapphires are slightly different sizes, but close enough to be a great pair!
The sapphires are the oldest part of the earrings, and are still in their original Victorian settings. They were part of a vintage pendant when I found them - I’ve separated all the drops to make these earrings and matching pendants (you can find the pendants here).
There’s minor surface wear and a few tiny chips to the sapphires and pearls, and some light wear and scratching to the settings commensurate with age and use. The pearls have a naturally uneven surface and are not perfectly round or smooth. Overall the earrings are in great shape and ready to wear!
14ct and 18ct gold (the drops are 14ct and I’ve added new 18ct gold hooks). The gold is unmarked but tested to confirm.
Measure approx 24mm long (16mm excluding the hooks). Sapphires (including settings) are approx 6mm across. Weigh approx 1.6g together.
