Old Mine Cut Quartz Pendants in 9ct Gold
These old mine cut colourless quartz gemstones are so beautiful, they needed simple settings to let them shine! Originally all part of an antique brooch (made around 1900), I’ve kept the original knife edge bars and silver settings but added new simple bales to make three pendants.
There’s minor wear to the gemstones, and they’re all secure in their original silver settings. The silver has oxidised (darkened) with time, but I can polish this for you at no extra charge if you’d like. There’s some minor surface wear to the gold, and the bottoms of the settings are a little uneven, but this is original to the piece so I left it as is. The original gold bars are slightly rosier gold than the new yellow gold bales I’ve added.
9ct gold (one pendant has a rubbed 9ct mark, the other two are unmarked but tested to confirm)
Each pendant measures approx 2cm long, and each gemstone in the setting measures just over 6mm across. Each pendant weighs approx 0.9g.
