Antique Engraved Shield Pendant in 9ct Gold

These shields started their lives as a pair of cufflinks, but I have given each one a simple 9ct gold bale to transform them into pendants! The engraving on these pendants was all done by hand, and is still beautifully crisp and detailed.
The shields are 9ct gold, but originally had a higher carat gold wash to make them a brighter yellow. This is still largely intact on the fronts of the pendants, but has worn away on the back, which shows the rosier 9ct gold underneath. One pendant has a solder mark on the back where the old cufflink chain was attached. There is some light scratching and wear to the gold, but overall in great shape and ready this to wear!
