Antique Engraved Gemstone Band in 15ct Gold
This late Victorian beauty has so many wonderful details! The crisp engraved details on each side, the combination of gems, and all in 15ct gold! There was only one rose cut diamond left in the band when I found it, so the turquoise, seed pearls and second rose cut diamond are new - but I think they suit this old beauty really well!
The band is thinning at the back, but I couldn’t repair this without removing some of the hallmarks. There is some light surface wear to the gold, and a visible repair at the back where the back had split. There’s still a lot of life left in this ring, but I wouldn’t recommend her for every day wear.
15ct gold, with English hallmarks showing it was made in Chester and of 15ct gold. The date letter is a bit worn, but I believe it shows the date of 1898.
Size L ½ / US size 6 - this ring could be resized, but it would likely lose some of the hallmarks if resizing up. Please message me to discuss if you’d like to have this ring resized!
Measures approx 7.25mm wide at the front and 10.5mm across from the outer edge of each seed pearl. Weighs approx 1.7g.
