1910 Silver Coin Bracelet

sale

Crafted of all matching silver Australian threepence’s, each from 1910, this bracelet is unlike any other I’ve seen! The coins alternate between the Kings head side and the side with an early version of the Australian coat of arms - a version that was only used from 1908 - 1912!

Each coin dates from 1910, although the bracelet was probably constructed around that time. The bracelet has been well made, with an expertly crafted invisible clasp, which is concealed between two coins.

There is some minor scratching and wear to the coins, which I’d expect from a piece of this age. A few of the connecting links are slightly out of shape and there is a join line visible on the side of the clasp. The clasp is secure and in great working order.

Silver (unmarked but tested)

Measures 19cm / 7.5in long. Each coin measures approx 16.3mm across. Weighs approx 17.2g.
